Cub Creek Science Camp is a
one of a kind summer program for students in 2nd -11th
grades.
One of the primary goals of
our science program is to teach students how to solve problems.
Science is all about asking
questions. The process of discovering the answers is what
a science camp should be all about.
Whether your question is: How
do you build a rocket? How
can I make a clay pot on a potters wheel? Will a kangaroo
choose a carrot or sweet potato? Will a compound bow or a
re-curve bow shoot my arrow further?
or, What is the temperature of the basking rocks used by the
Eastern Fence Lizard? Campers at Cub Creek Science Camp enjoy learning that they can discover the answers,
through their hands-on involvement.
The problem or
question is not as important as the process of
discovering the answer.
Our goal is to have camper
leave our program looking at any
problem as simply a challenge or riddle, waiting to be solved.
Cub Creek Science Camp
offers over
20 courses, ranging from a
Jr. Vet
course, to a build it yourself physics lab or
CSI. Campers can
explore areas of interest and discover new interest all
while making friends, building great memories and having
the time of their lives.
