You never know what you will find when you
go on an insect safari at summer camp. When you find
something interesting, you can collect it, identify it and
if you like make a mini habitat for it. Observing
insects is a great way to learn about them. After
watching it for a few days we release them back where they
were found.
Entomology is the science that studies insects - So, you think life is tough? Try spending a day as an
ant. Watch a meal worm metamorphosis into a beetle or a
caterpillar into a butterfly. Attract and identify
nocturnal as well as diurnal insects, build habitats or
compete in the bug Olympics! These are just some
of the things you will enjoy during our week long entomology
course at Cub
Creek Science Camp.
