Making crafts are a favorite
part of summer camp. Cub Creek Science Camp offers
three different week long craft courses as well as over 20
unique craft activities.
Our week long craft camp
courses include;
Pottery
- Get muddy on the pottery
wheel. Learn coil, pinch and slab methods for hand
building clay. You will make a variety of great
projects such as masks, mugs, and animal tiles to take
home.
Natural Crafts -
Anthropologists have been studying other cultures though
art for a very long time. During this course you
will learn to appreciate the time, skill and dedication
of other cultures by learning some of their crafts
including: jewelry, beading and dream catchers.
Cultural Crafts - Dip
your own candle, make handmade paper, or spin a natural
jump rope, all while you learn about our world's
valuable natural resources.
Candle Making
Cub Creek offers
26 week long
courses and over 100 activity choice.
Crafts at camp include: paper, felt and rope making,
sculpture, sketching, lanyards, Native American talking
sticks and dream catchers, jewelry design and creation,
pinch and coil pots, wheel work (pottery).
